I will forever love and be grateful for the people at chestnut. I left in April of 2021 and have been clean since. I'm so thankful for my time there.

The policies are awful. I had a great therapist but she left and I now have to get a new one. I waited to long to reschedule so I have to do an assessment. The assessment are only done same day m-f from 7:30-2. I have work and two kids I can not keep calling off work or getting a babysitter to not get an appointment. I may never be able to get in. Edit- they fixed the problem and helped me get an appointment.

Chestnut helped me save my life, for that I am forever grateful. They have offered me a number of services to help me advance in life. The staff is the BEST! Robert Royal, thank you for all you do. ♡

Had to click one star to be able to write a review but ZERO STARS are more appropriate!!! Please look elsewhere if you need treatment. The staff is full of people that truly could care less about you, your addiction, or even the bare minimum of the work they are there to do. I actually personally witnessed and was inadvertantly involved in two cases of gross violations of other patients privacy rights and am trying to secure a lawyer for to get those two staff members fired. Not to mention the fact that while I was there voluntarily I contracted head lice from doing my laundry in that nasty nasty place.

I was a client with a mental health crisis & I stayed @ the location on Martin Luther King Dr in Bloomington,IL. I stayed for 10 days. I had exceptional care. The staff were wonderful- compassionate, skilled, efficient & so helpful. They gave me the tools I needed to recover. The unit was safe & in excellent physical condition. My family were treated with the utmost respect. I highly recommend the unit.
