I do not recommend the electrician program. There is little to no actual instruction—students are mostly given a book and told to teach themselves. There is no structured, hands-on training led by a qualified instructor. Even if the instructors are certified, they are not actively teaching or supporting the students. The program seriously lacks practical, hands-on experience, which is essential for learning this trade. From what I’ve seen, the welding program appears to be much better organized and more worthwhile. Save your time and money and avoid the electrical program.

I started here at this school back in September and I am nearing graduation. Having the opportunity to come here has been amazing the staff and instructors have passed on a lot of valuable knowledgeable. When I first started Happy was my instructor he was welcoming and supportive anytime I came to him for advice he guided me through any mistakes. I can tell he has always been passionate about helping us find our way as students and that he takes pride in his work from welding to getting students set up for a transition into the field. He does an amazing job all around.

Honestly CET is an amazing school not just the welding class but all of CET, their instructors are amazing teachers and even better people entirely, especially Happy he really makes sure he’s their to help you get better in any way possible, truly a teacher wanting to help. I’d recommend no other school it’s truly the best if you want to improve and start a career.
