Center for Addiction Recovery at UPMC in Central Pa.

Told my friend to continue taking prescriptions that weren't his because there was nothing they could do apparently. They literally will tell you " we just want to prescribe you suboxone and that's it". But, if you dont have an opioid disorder why give someone suboxone? Just shady. They should change their name to "suboxone supplier #156"

This place is awesome! When I check in I'm always greeted with a warm friendly smile. Dr Swartzentruber's nurse, Claudine, makes me feel so comfortable that it's as if I'm talking to an old friend. I saw Dr Swartzentruber in Rehab and continue to see him at his clinic because he's so down to earth, kind, knowledgeable, and helps his patients in any way he possibly can. I truly have a better life because of UPMC Center for Addiction Recovery!

Dr Swartzentruber is definitely an angel on earth. He truly has compassion and genuinely cares about his patients and community. He is always ready and eagerly waiting to help get you the best care possible so you can return to a fulfilling and productive life. I'm very grateful for this clinic. After leaving due to the distance after moving, I am back-it's worth the extra travel time to come here. Would recommend to anyone who's serious about entering into long term recovery
