I stayed in this place years ago with my kids , and it was absolutely TERRIBLE! the people in charge at the shelter were arrogant , rude , and had no sympathy or want to understand the women and their situations there . these are critical moments in women’s lives , where they have lost everything , you would think they would at least be nice or treat the residents with respect. I was treated like an inmate , not someone seeking shelter . Boy did They put on a good façade when church’s came to invest money or help or people donated though ! Just overall horrible humans , if anything this place traumatized me instead of helping me !

Update on our journey I was arrested on fraudulent charges and on February 11th 2021 I was successful at having 2 felony charges dismissed. That's a sure Win for all the injustice I seen over the past 2 years. I also now have massive evidence on the abuser and even with the Family justice center turning a blind eye to the abuse we endured. I will have my baby girl home soon. I was brought into the court house then into a room behind the courtroom. I was the told by the Family justice center lawyer who volunteered his help. Not to get belligerent with the judge. I was only asking what jurisdiction this judge had over my child and myself. My lawyer at no time pulled up the past police records on the alleged father. Who has had past restraining orders against him. Also the judgement of a previous judge stating that it would not be in the best intrest of his children for him to have more visitation time with him. He would have to communicate with his ex wife and he didn't believe he could. This is not justice and I pray that this one lawyer available to the public for family justice is removed from his position.

I was rudely spoken to by staff for asking of a client-patient needing a ride to court as the court postponed the first hearing for failing to bring the patient to first hearing.They have destroyed my loving relationship with my wife and daughter by poisoning their minds with dishonesty defamating my character to put it mildly.
