Catholic Charities - Long Beach Community Services Center

I bought tons of food for them to distribute to families. They were closed, everything completely locked up, minutes before closing time at 3pm. Would be good to have longer hours, work more, clean up the place. From the outside it does not look good. For the moment it does not give confidence if you want to make contributions. Born and raised Catholic, I was very disappointed. Ended up going to Christian Outreach in Action which was buzzing with people and activities, and friendly and helpful staff.

My first time , my friend & I came 7:30 am they start to distribute but we noticed those who were first in line gets the good stuff , after about 20 25 people , we don’t. I suggest they have more volunteers. I still thank GOD FOR THE BLESSINGS.

If you're a single dad I would not go through this program at all I went through this program and they do not help out the single fathers at all instead and they stop helping me without telling me or the management company and they left me with a $3000 to $4,000 of back rent I have to now pay I was told by Catholic Charities that they will help me get on Section 8 and help me out with everything that me and my kids need but yet they don't
