They would not help me & my 1 & 4 year old because we were not abused in their zipcode

I stayed there 10 days no help. Was suppose to get a Protective Order never happen They had bed bugs on the mattresses

The care lodge wasn’t there when a friend of mines was in need of help. She call several times to seek shelter for fear of her life from abuse from a relationship. She went threw all the channels to try to protect herself from this man. Yet in the end she lost her life a few days after. The care lodge is quick to speak upon domestic violence when things occur for spot light attention. I don’t feel that the care lodge provide the true protection for someone that’s seeking refuge durning an domestic situation. There building has been compromise and is unsafe.Many of these abusing spouse know the location the ladies or house at. There seeking shelter only to stay a few days until they get back with their significant other and at time are have the guys pick them up a few blocks away before curfew.Care lodge doesn’t provide the help to victims to make a fresh start only a couple days of night cap. If there full and want except any more people then your left to survive on your own.My friend tried and she lost her life because they didn’t have any beds open.
