I transferred my voucher into the CMHA last year. I am currently trying to transfer out of CMHA. So far, it seems as if I'm being ignored and disregarded by my worker. I sent her an email 2 weeks ago and she has not responded to me. I should not be surprised. Prior to my transferring into the CMHA, I had issues with this exact same woman ignoring my emails and my phone calls. Maybe her caseload is too heavy for her? Maybe she's overworked? I honestly don't know. But what I do know is this, if I had a job dealing with clientele and mistreated, ignored and disregarded them the way she's been doing to me, I'd no longer have that job as I'd be fired. I haven't had any dealings with any other departments so I can't speak on them.

I can now understand why most landlords don't want to accept section 8. Just imagine the landlords having to wait for 4 months just to get an offer. It's so weird that I'm left asking myself so many questions. They don't care whether someone is about to be homeless. They still want to take 4 months. If the landlord refuses the offer. The tenant will have to do it all over again. Tenant might be homeless for 1 year plus depending on how many landlords reject an offer or lose patience. Why no one, no leadership is doing anything about this? What a complete disaster. Many people are afraid to write a negative review. But, if you want change you have to say something even though it will most likely fall into deaf ears. Maybe 3 years later, a caring leader will take charge and change the whole system. I believe in miracle.
