**⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 Stars** **Review:** I am very thankful to Buffalo City Mission for providing shelter and support during a difficult time. The staff were compassionate and helpful, and their commitment to helping those in need is truly commendable. One thing I noticed was that the environment let the hyenas bark at times, which made it hard to sleep. Despite that, I appreciate everything they do for the community and the assistance they gave me when I needed it most.

Hello everyone I’ve never been to this shelter before but as I read the reviews it hurts my heart to hear people put down the shelter and the staff I just want to say these woman and men who try their best to be good stewards by helping the homeless we as people should be more grateful to them they are doing their best to help people like us so what if the food isn’t that good at least you have a meal you don’t have to eat it and if some places aren’t that clean clean it up or speak to staff don’t just run on here putting them down we fail to realize that GOD is the ultimate reason this place exists so when you say bad things about people of God your saying bad things about God too no place is perfect but if you are truly grateful for even having a place to stay for even a night do something unselfish to help those who helped you I hope this gets to someone and give them a heart to be grateful and thankful

Let me start by saying I’ve stayed in shelters before — but I have never in my life seen instant mashed potatoes that looked like something scraped off a 7th-grade science project. I had to ASK what the other dish even was because it was literally submerged in dark oily liquid. And when I tried to politely express my concern, Miss Thing behind the counter had the nerve to say, “If you’re going to complain about it, you don’t have to eat it.” Excuse me?? It’s not that I’m “complaining,” it’s that y’all don’t know how to cook. There’s a difference. Then came the salad incident. I said, “Can I get some dressing on my salad?” They said, “It’s already on there.” I said, “Okay… but I’d like more dressing.” They said, “We don’t have any.” Ma’am. The bottle was full at lunch. Who do you think you’re fooling? I told them straight up — “Y’all weird.” And I meant that with my whole spirit.
