Hi Everyone, I want to share that this place is great for when you need food, shower, clothes, diapers, etc. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7 am-11 am, line up outside with your Identification card and get ready to fill out an application. You can also sign up to volunteer, like I did online, starting soon, hopefully, my boys and I. Starting fresh in Florida wasn't a straight line, and I ran out of money with my big move from NYC. They gift good food, some may expire quickly, and with the loading in the truck, it may thaw while out in the sun. You have to be a good judge of items before you eat them, as much as the delivery guy has to do a better job loading the groceries into refrigerated trucks. These are items that are donated from supermarkets every week, twice a week, maybe more. They have a garden where fresh fruits and vegetables are harvested from their grounds, and they work hard on managing to give to those in need. I have just experienced on one occasion a ready-to-eat food that was bad, but it wasn't expired yet. Other than that, I am appreciative of these people and everything I have gotten and survived for five months with the goods. I am more stable now, and I want to give back by volunteering with my boys and being part of the community. Don't be shy and swallow your pride when you are in need, there's help you just need to find it on Google.
