Rude staff. Will tell you they don't believe you simply based on factors such as age. Shared personal information on other clients they had which is an extreme violation of their rights. The sessions my friend experienced were unhelpful and anxiety inducing. People come here for help—not to be accused and belittled. Especially after horrible experiences they are currently still undergoing. When your client tells you point blank that they would like to not discuss a certain topic with a therapist who is very clearly biased against them maybe take the hint! They're here for something completely different, not whatever mundane thing you would rather talk about that you think is more important. Stop treating your clients like they are liars. Stop telling your clients your other clients personal information! I do not recommend this place.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate the people at blackburn !!! Simply the best, caring and supportive group out there!! Don't be afraid to go !!! I don't understand the negative reviews here??? I've had nothing but helpful people on the phone or in person?!!

We would never recommend anyone going here. Had extremely bad experience and they were absolutely no help what so ever.

My friend stayed there and she was treated like she was treated horribly by someone named Barb, who picks n chooses who gets help and who doesn't. When my friend told her story this woman was rolling her eyes and laughing. I've heard other horror stories from other women who stayed there who are terrified to say anything. This place needs investigated by the authorities

If I could give a negative star I would. My daughter has called for 2 weeks...everyday!!! When she finally did speak to the attorney, she was rude and told her there was nothing she could do for her because she hasn't been a resident of Westmoreland County for 6 months. This is the kind of help that women trying to get out of a domestic abuse relationship are getting. You should be ashamed of yourselves. The police can only do so much because this is a civil matter and Blackburn waited 2 weeks to return a call and no saying that my daughter should have done things differently. That's what we needed them to help us do things the right way.
