Took the grandkids to the rodeo for the first time and we loved it!

What a fantastic day at the Rodeo, great atmosphere and friendly staff

Do you ever feel like you're on hallowed Ground? Well, that's how I felt. I'd like to say I was inspired to visit this lovely church today with a long story about religion and family, but in reality the inspiration came from a simple act of kindness. Yesterday my wife and I and my sister-in-law tried to visit the rodeo, but we arrived an hour late, we tried to pay our admission, but there was nobody in the admission booth because the event was about to end. I found an official looking gentleman and asked to pay our way, but he said you know there's only a half hour left. Why don't you just go over there and buy a snack and we're all set? I love this answer, but then, when I got to the booth, there was a woman in there praising Jesus, because she just heard that her friend had been given a clean bill of health by the hospital. I'm not sure what was wrong with her or why but the lady kept saying miracle miracle. So Sunday morning rolled around, and I remembered seeing service was at 10, so I decided to visit. To warm, welcomes and friendliness from everyone. The music was so inspiring I was brought to tears. The sermon was funny and kind and interesting and on point. The fact that they recognized I was new as I was leaving was also inspiring. If you have something missing in your life, I highly recommend visiting on Sunday at 10 AM. I have a feeling you'll find the answer at Alden Community Church.
