Akzipp Tv rated 1 a year ago Joke of a agency. Will just keep prolonging cases even though it's evident that the parent is incapable of raising that child. Even once they're established in a new home with family members who are actually capable of providing the love and care the child needs. They'll switch case workers half way through just out of the blue. Its unfortunate that these are the people In charge of the well being of the youth. |
Michelle Bauer rated 1 2 years ago I work in a company with individuals who receive "services" from OCS and I have to partner with OCS frequently. The workers at OCS are difficult to contact. When I've worked with Child Protective Services in the lower 48... Anchorage OCS is a joke compared to them. I've gotten hung up on by the front desk after I asked to be transferred, and no, it was not an accident--the receptionist said, "Bye, have a nice day," in a rude tone and hung up on me. The worker I've worked with made promises to a client of mine while we were on the phone all together and then the worker turned around and lied about making those promises. This is an agency that lacks professionalism and they almost NEVER get back to their clients nor partnering agencies. OCS also has never provided case plans in a timely manner and forging their composing dates when they created documents. |
Jennifer Somebody (Jen) rated 1 3 years ago I was denied placement of my special needs cousins because the state feels only nurses are fit to raise special needs children. They don't care about keeping families together, and in actuality it seems more like all they want is to keep kids from families. This is the worst place for children. My cousins were kidnapped from their last foster home and placed with an alcoholic. It's so good to know that my family is going to be raised by two women who only have being a nurse going for them.
In response: this isn't a Q&A, this is a place for reviews and I reviewed your office. Sorry not sorry I told the truth. |
