If you have a positive pregnancy test and are looking for resources, aid for women is an amazing place to look. I was able to confirm my pregnancy with an ultrasound at around 5 weeks and if you have the opportunity to participate in the parenting classes online I would because you learn so much and also get a lot of things your baby will need by completing the quizzes every 2 weeks. I was able to earn points and exchange them for baby clothes, diapers, wipes and even more. I was also able to enter a raffle and won a brand new stroller/ car seat for my baby girl. Thank you so much to Connie and the whole team for being a great help throughout my whole pregnancy and the first few months of postpartum.

An Incredible Experience at Aid for Women – Flossmoor After completing my consultation at the Wheeling location, we headed to Aid for Women in Flossmoor for our scheduled ultrasound appointment with Joanne’s assistance. The moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by three incredible ladies—Connie (I hope I got your name right!), who was at the front desk, Sharon, the sonographer, and Abbey, who stayed with me during and after my ultrasound session. Sharon guided me to the ultrasound room, where she took my medical history and asked me to sign a few consent forms ensuring my information would remain confidential. She then helped me prepare for the ultrasound, making sure everything was clean and comfortable. She applied warm gel to my stomach and kindly explained that she would first examine everything herself before sharing the details with me. Just as my mind began to wander with nerves and anticipation, Abbey stepped in and started chatting with me, asking engaging questions that quickly distracted me from my anxious thoughts. This thoughtful approach helped me feel more relaxed and excited rather than overwhelmed. As Sharon conducted a detailed scan, Abbey’s cheerful conversation filled the room with positivity, making the entire experience so much more enjoyable. When Sharon finally turned the screen to me, she reassured me that everything was normal. She showed me my baby's heartbeat, and as a first-time mom-to-be, I was completely in awe. It was such an overwhelming moment that I could hardly process it all. My husband joined me, and together, we watched in amazement as we saw our baby for the very first time. After the ultrasound, Abbey led me to another room where she provided valuable guidance on nutrition, foods to avoid, and essential pregnancy tips. She and Sharon also showed us 3D images of our baby, making the experience even more surreal. Holding the printed image in my hand, my hands trembled with emotion—this was our little one growing inside me. Abbey answered all of our questions with such warmth and expertise, making the session deeply informative and reassuring. Before we left, they surprised us with generous gifts and baby essentials, which truly touched our hearts. The kindness, care, and support we received from Abbey, Sharon, and Connie were beyond anything we expected. Thank you, Aid for Women, for your unwavering dedication to expectant parents. And a special thank you to these wonderful ladies—our shining stars—for making this journey so memorable and meaningful. With love and gratitude, Noor
