We adopted twice through this agency and have nothing but good things to say! They helped us through every step. Every question. Every “what if” and helped us to navigate through some tough scenarios. If not for them, we wouldn’t be where we are and we are forever grateful to them and the entire staff. I recommend them whenever possible! Shout out to Kathi for her grace, her humor, her patience, and her understanding through everything. Shes truly a gem and we loved working with her!

In April of 2023 my husband and I attended Adoption MN's orientation to start our adoption journey. Immediately we felt Adoption MN was special. One of the many reasons we felt this way was due to the commitment the counselors make to ensure the birth mothers are taken care of from pregnancy to post-partum and beyond. These women are choosing the most selfless act one can make and we were able to see firsthand how dedicated, loving and supportive Kim and Amanda are. Another reason we felt Adoption MN stood out compared to other agencies was the different trainings they offered. While there is a lot of uncertainty from the adoptive family's side, they do their best to provide you with the different scenarios of what could happen. The most remarkable thing about Adoption MN however is the retention of the staff. Many have worked there over a decade, their knowledge and expertise has everything down to a science and there isn't much that surprises them anymore. In early 2024, we were chosen. Kathi was our counselor and she was absolutely remarkable. She answered the many questions we had and was with us every step of the way. I could go on and on about each person we encountered but in general we cannot rave enough about how much this team supported and cared for us. My husband and I are forever grateful for all of them since they helped make our dreams come true. We will be back for baby #2!

Adoption MN has been an incredible partner throughout our adoption journey. From the very beginning, their patience and care in addressing all our questions made us feel supported and understood. We had countless worries, but Kathi, our adoptive parent counselor, was especially wonderful. She took the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring we felt confident and informed. One of the most valuable aspects of our experience was the various sessions they organized with other adoptive parents and birth moms who had already gone through the process. These sessions provided us with invaluable insights and firsthand experiences, making us feel less alone in our journey. Additionally, Adoption MN coordinated the creation of an adoption group consisting of families going through the same process. This group became a wonderful source of learning and mutual support. We were able to share our experiences, ask questions, and build a community with others who truly understood what we were going through. Even after the adoption was finalized, the team at Adoption MN has continued to be a valuable source of advice and support. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, compassion, and the strong sense of community they foster. We couldn't have asked for a better partner in our adoption journey.
