I wish we didn't need to have food shelves, but since we do this is one we donate to. Don't forget to bring them baking goods, and please no expired cabinet dumps! The volunteers have to sort through everything, so help them out and make good choices. If you won't eat it, why should someone else.

You turned the clothing closet from private to public. What a mess. Do you care about the almighty buck or helping low income people get the necessities of life?? Now any person with a Lexus or BMW can roll into the parking lot and strip the racks clean. Your pricing has quadrupled since the time you got the state grant. Clearly you want money. Your pricing is all over the map. Necklaces go from $3 all the way to $6. One long sleeve shirt is $2 while another one is $5. I can go to savers for that price on seniors day or 25% off day and willingly pay 30% more and get some amazing things name brand and not worn out. Dont try competing with savers or goodwill because you won't win. If your going to turn it from a clothing closet into a store I expect quality, no damage on the items, and competitive pricing. Also, your pricing needs to be more even. Know your brands. Frankly the whole thing is off putting and upsetting. Im low income. I live in the neighbor hood. I sometimes walk to go to this foodshelf. Im on disability. That is your target demographic. That and older retired people, homeless people, immigrants just starting out, or someone who lost their job. Not a Lexus or BMW. I make ends meet. A $5 necklace ticks me off. Especially when we were getting them for $1 or $2 tops. And your putting $8 on a woman's dress. Why are women being punished, just for being a woman. $8 for a dress IS a savers price. I can have my pick of the litter in dresses at savers for $8. I gladly shop the foodshelf and humbly accept the $5 voucher for the closet I and always pray that God blesses and protects ACBC and I praise God every time I leave with food. Im not entitled. Please dont take the fun and joy out of that thrift store for me or on principle, I won't spend a dime in there. I had to get this off my chest. Thanks

Great place and resource for the community. Especially at this time when Snap benefits are halted.
