5 Loaves Food Pantry

Kind of sad that my son missed out on getting Christmas gifts. I turned my paper in the next time they were open after one of the ladies gave me the paper not one time did she or on the paper that you would be picked to get gifts all she told me was to turn it in as soon as you can and that’s what I did. I call up there last week and she says did I get an email or text of some sort and I was like no then she said well your child didn’t get picked and hung up on me. I don’t think I’ll be back to get food or anything from here had I known that you have to be picked to get a Christmas gift I would’ve never signed my 6 year old son up because that’s very disappointing nothing like that was explained to me.

Thank everyone involved with helping to get needed food for those who need help. The last weeks leading to a monthly paycheck can not always get us through so THANK YOU for being so amazing and giving us what we can use to survive through till we can get through it alone. To all who donate food to the loaders THANK YOU.

They give a good amount of food, but it always either comes expired or rotten. I picked up an order last week, and I was given Mac n cheese in it. I just cooked the Mac n cheese yesterday night, and I got really sick from it… and then I checked the expiration date and it had expired August 24th. It’s October now… almost November. Be careful and always read the expiration dates on all the food you get from there! I sometimes like the food they give, but it’s a hit or miss! It’s all preference. I prefer a place where I can pick what I need. Not saying it’s not a good place! Love the people there!!! So kind and helpful to serve the community! 😄 Me and My husband have been unemployed for a while so this sometimes helps us… but it doesn’t last because the food comes expired or rotten and then it’s all thrown away the day we get it. And sometimes, we get some super random food that we dislike… or makes us sick.
