If you are seeking an abortion, The Unexpected Pregnancy Center in New Iberia will not help you. They do not recommend or refer for abortion, or the morning after pill. They will offer a free pregnancy test to you. They say they that they offer “honest” information, but some of their information regarding abortion procedures, and Plan B emergency contraception is not honest or scientifically correct. This is not a medical clinic, and they do not offer reproductive health services, exams, contraception, testing for STDs, or any type of treatment. The counseling services they provide are not the required counseling necessary for abortion care.
