A Heartfelt Thank You to South Side Women’s Services🫶🏼
I had the most wonderful experience today at South Side Women’s Services. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. Jo, America, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported throughout my visit. They were professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to helping me.
The atmosphere was warm and reassuring, and I left the clinic with a full heart, knowing I’m in good hands moving forward. Their kindness and attention to detail have given me the confidence and motivation to continue on my journey with peace of mind. I can’t thank them enough for their exceptional care and support. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a caring and understanding team!

Please DO NOT go here for any reason at all, especially if you’re a first time mom. I came here back in January 2023 when I found out I was pregnant and my experience was horrible. The Christian women here asked me abt my personal religious/spiritual beliefs only to tell me what I personally believed in wasn’t real. My husband wasn’t allowed in the ultrasound room with me and the only ones allowed were the religious women and the ultrasound tech. After my transvaginal ultrasound was done I was told by the tech that I was having an ECTOPIC PREGNANCY and she could see the gestational sac outside of my uterus, which confused me because to my knowledge I thought ultrasound techs weren’t allowed or authorized to diagnose anything. Nonetheless I was petrified and shaking, I could barely speak and was on the verge of tears as the tech was telling me that I had to go to the hospital right away to end my pregnancy and get it removed, I expected these women in the room with me to console or at least wish me the best after telling me this horrible news but they didn’t which was ironic being how religious they are, they just left the room. After bawling my eyes out/having a breakdown, I went to the hospital and had another ultrasound done there and the doctor confirmed I WAS NOT HAVING AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY and he had no idea how the technician saw a gestational sac outside my uterus, he even called her crazy and said she should have not been diagnosing anything. Fast forward to now, 9 months later, I have given birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. I was truly traumatized by this place and I suffered a lot of emotional distress, it really messed with my head and was a horrible start to my pregnancy journey. There is a reason this place is free. If you are in the position I was in, being newly pregnant and not having medical insurance at the moment, you qualify for Medicaid so please apply for it and wait it out until you can set up a prenatal appointment at an actual reliable clinic.
