I haven’t actually been to the office yet this review is based off a phone call. I spoke to Faith on the phone to set up an appointment she was so professional, kind and patient. I’m so happy a place like this exists, free of charge. I only hope the rest of the staff is just as nice in person. In regards to the other reviews, Faith was up front that Soundview is not an abortion clinic nor do they refer for abortions. Update: the staff was just as nice if not nicer than I expected. The office is so clean and has a very warm feel to it. I cannot believe the amount of service they provide all for free! More people should know about this. Whatever any woman decideds to do after their visit I highly recommend this office for initial visits. They do not provide long term care or abortions. You can tell they are some what anti abortion. However, they are not judgement and they have loads of info. They are generous with free samples and reading material. Expect your first visit to be with 3 woman; 2 nurses and 1 patient care advocate. If you decide to go through with pregnancy they have free material support; diapers, wipes, etc. they can even set you up with a website to get free food (just the basics). If you decide abortion they have post procedure therapy. The nurses provide a list of doctors and places to help with insurance. I do not think the list includes abortion clinics. A lot of people know about planned parenthood and I have never been there but I truly believe Soundview should be every woman’s initial visit. I only wish they provided long term care!

The website is misleading. It lists abortion as a valid choice during an unplanned pregnancy, when really they will attempt to talk women out of getting abortions. I felt incredibly judged, as if they were trying to scare me into keeping the baby. If you are looking for a completely unbiased and medically-based view, please go somewhere else. While I'm sure they do good work for women who are planning to continue their pregnancy, do NOT come here if you are confused about your unplanned pregnancy.

This place does not offer objective, comprehensive information about pregnancy choices and portrays abortion as a medically and emotionally risky choice, despite much evidence to the contrary. It also encourages abstinence over condom use. See a real medical provider instead of going here.
