Pregnancy and Parenting Center

Highly recommend visiting for everything pregnancy and parenting related! I’m a first time mom. After taking classes throughout my pregnancy I am super confident in giving birth and caring for my child. There are classes and support here for all parents in different situations. Not just pregnancy! My partner and I have worked with just about all of the advocates so I’m confident in saying how supportive and caring they all are.

These people actually care. Susan and Molly are empathetic, caring, gentle, and the best community resource we have ever worked with in multiple states (TX, OR, and IL). When nobody in a 60 mile radius could care less about our family, these wonderful people saved us with their help. If you are in need they will assist, and provide A FREE PREGNANCY TEST in their safe facility. Their point system is amazing. You gain points for going to appointments, taking their EXCELLENT courses online, and donating to the center. You can trade points (YOU GET A LOT!) to get diapers, wipes, clothes, books for the little one, shoes, and even toys when they get them. Goodwill in town is horrible GO STRAIGHT HERE!!!! Better than even OREGON DHS! Thank you. (I am a 6 year OEF/OND Combat Veteran, my wife is disabled, and we have a 2 year old son).

I took the parenting classes at Pregnancy and Parenting Center in Florence, Oregon this summer on my 2 trimester of my pregnancy. I REALLY enjoyed taking classes (I watched on my phone and took the tests after each class, and then discussed the learned material with my advocate). It helped me prepare myself and my son who is 5, to control emotions, see options how to deal with frustration, learn about courage, how to reach desired goals daily - before meeting our little baby. The people in this center are very NICE, KIND, PATIENT. They gave me SO MANY useful recourses/ info about where to find help what you need as a parent. I am very THANKFUL for all the time I spent with my advocate Teresa(via phone call), I could share my thoughts, worries, and things and I am happy I found this center. Moreover, there is a very cute boutique inside the center, where I got some clothes and other necessary things for an expecting mom and baby in exchange for credits( I got for each classes).
