Because of the phenomenal medical professionals here the.matter was able to be treated and she is a happy, healthy, thriving six year old who is actually already doing third and fourth grade level work. She would have died without their expertise and support and I probably would have also. Such care with immense kindness. Also, we aren't even religious. Religious views being discussed was not an issue at any time for us. Everyone was respectful and kind.

I left this place feeling deeply uncomfortable and upset. I came in expecting genuine support and medical guidance, but instead, most of the visit centered around pushing religious beliefs. The woman asked us several personal questions about our faith, shared Bible verses about getting into heaven, and kept bringing the conversation back to God instead of the reason we were there. At the end, she asked if she could pray for us, and we uncomfortably said yes—mostly because we didn’t know how to refuse after everything that had already been said. When I mentioned that I planned to find an OBGYN outside of this clinic, she questioned me in a tone that made it seem like I didn’t have a real choice, even though she kept saying it was “up to me.” The whole experience felt manipulative and inappropriate for such a vulnerable situation. People deserve unbiased, professional care—not pressure wrapped in religion.
