As a first timer, I didn't know what to expect coming here, but as soon as I arrived, I was at ease. The waiting room is so nice and comfortable and the ladies working the front desk were very welcoming. Elizabeth and Ciel were absolutely wonderful to speak with. They were extremely supportive and excited for me as if they were my own family members or have known me for many years. They gave me lots of information and were very welcoming to my husband. They offered me snacks and drinks during my appointment and made sure I was feeling good. They were not invasive at all and if any questions that seemed invasive were going to be asked, they made it known. Ciel did an amazing job with my ultrasound. It was an emotional and beautiful experience for my husband and I. She guided us through the ultrasound and again was so supportive and made me feel very comfortable. At the end of my appointment I was able to pick out a beautiful blanket for my baby and got some incredible photographs of my baby in my womb. As someone with no insurance or support, after moving to SC with my husband and getting pregnant, knowing no one and having no family here, I praise God that a place like this exists and am even more grateful that the volunteers there are so incredibly helpful, kind, respectful, caring, I could go on! I definitely recommend this non-profit organization to any new mom or family that is struggling or just needs some extra support. Places like this with amazing volunteers, make you feel not alone and actually excited to experience the beautiful journey of pregnancy.

Truly the most empathetic and caring group of people I’ve ever met. I came here to explore my options after an unplanned pregnancy took us by surprise. I decided to keep baby and then had a loss not long after. I went to the ER and my own OB and was not shown nearly as much compassion by anyone as I was by LPC. Every woman I met had a strong bond with God and warmly welcomed me in to their space when I felt like I didn’t know where to turn. Highly recommend!

The only issue I had was checking in. I was told to call when I arrive because the door would be locked and arrive 15 minutes early. I called saying I wanted to check in for my appointment. They lady on the phone says “okay, I will notify them” and hangs up. My husband and I then proceed to wait outside for 30 minutes. I did call again to ask for further instructions. Staff apologized for the inconvenience and explained it was a misunderstanding. (I’m not sure how when I explained) Otherwise everything was great. Check-in was easy plus all the other staff were friendly and informative.
