I used to volunteer here a while back, and when I recently found myself pregnant in the midst of difficult circumstances, I was welcomed at the center with open arms. I wasn’t judged at all for my situation. I was offered an ultrasound that day after someone had canceled at the last minute. The moment I laid eyes on my tiny little baby, and heard her heartbeat, I was in love. Afterwards, I was offered a list of resources to reach out to for further mental, medical, and economic assistance. I left feeling a confidence that I didn’t have when I walked in. Now I’m 32 weeks pregnant, and hopeline has continued to check in with me me throughout my pregnancy. The other day I was given a gift bag that included clothes, formula, diapers, and more. If you are pregnant and not sure what to do next or who to turn to for help, this center is a great place to start!
