I have never donated anything to any facility besides the donation bins outside of shopping areas . After finding out that sometimes donation bins or boxes (the little houses) can use donations to make rags or other items if they can’t be sold I was rather shocked. If I could I would go back and grab my donations because after finding out about this place I wish a millions times that I knew sooner . Birthright helps pregnant women as well as women in general who may be single moms or just moms needing to make ends meet when it comes to clothes and just basic needs for themselves and their children . I was reassured that all donations go towards helping these women and children . (Given that the items are also in good condition) . At the office you will see breast feeding goodies like milk bags and I believe other items like diapers and books . You have toys in one section as well ready for new homes . And their section of clothes for both boys and girls ages from infants up to 5T! They do also help out in other ways you can just call to find out , staff was very friendly . As most moms sometimes our children outgrow clothes very quick , maybe we get a couple uses out of it and next thing you know they’re the next size up ! I donated quite a few bags of my daughter’s clothes , I was very fortunate to have the help I had when I gave birth up to now . I was told this facility is the only one of its kind in all of westchester ! With that being said I hope other families can donate here as well or spread the word if they know a family in need .

This center actually helps women by empowering them and allowing them to make the right decision and not base decisions on fear.
