Jesse Laday rated 5 2 months ago This place is trying to bring God back into the work place, which is what we need. And faith in general. It helped me with the boot camp training, on how to market yourself and stand out to the employer. One great point the teacher said, was to picture yourself as a product on the store shelf, and make yourself stand out above the rest with your skills, and the mock interviews were very helpful as well. I further the guys names that taught us in bootcamp, but it was about 5 years ago. On dacoma. |
Marisol Ramos rated 5 3 years ago This is a wonderful ministry for anyone needing help with finding employment. They truly care about each person. |
Brad Lord rated 2 3 years ago The course is great. It really boosted my confidence and gave me some skills in interviewing and filling out applications.
After the course, you get paired with a coach. The coaches in my opinion have way too many clients assigned to then to really be effective.
If you don't get a job after 3 months (me), you get assigned a new long term coach. I graduated almost a year ago, and I have heard from my long term coach exactly once. I've tried reaching out, but apparently my original coach left the company. I have apparently been assigned to a new long term coach, but I have no idea who it is, and nobody will help me find them.
The office staff is really rude. After I graduated, any time I tried to go back for a coaching visit or to use the lab they acted like I had no business being there.
Basically, their goal is to help you get a job within three months. If you don't get one in three months they stop caring. |
Barrett James rated 5 4 years ago I highly recommend the WorkFaith Connection. It is a Christ centered, 8 day job readiness training program that helps those who have been out of work to find their way. Not just find a job, but hope and purpose. If you know anyone out of work or looking to return to the workplace, this is the place. Family is what those who go through the program call this place, family. |
Philip Marantica rated 5 4 years ago Fantastic organization with a genuine care for the real needs of people (of all backgrounds) seeking honest jobs. They focus more than just on finding a job - they also seek to enrich individuals more holistically. They are clear and honest about their approach to job hunting and are a non-profit, Christian organization. Their services are offered with the expectation that the individual will be true to themselves as well as respect the people who are there to help through punctuality, communication, and honesty.
If you are looking for an encouraging group of people (or to join them in helping people in their job-hunt journey) check them out. They do intro sessions that take 20-30 minutes to see if their services are a good fit for prospective attendees. |
