One of my best friends recommended this church to me almost 5 years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. They really make you feel like family. The head pastor is absolutely amazing. This is an amazing church. The music ministry is excellent every single week. The song selections for the choir are wonderful. They are currently constructing a new building due to the high volume of church members. This church is headed in the right direction. I’m honestly impressed every Sunday. You really do leave church feeling so renewed. On Wednesdays they have Bible study or a segment called Wednesdays in the word I absolutely love it. Leadership (except for Dr. Cosby who is God's gift) is so fake. They are not truly loving, spiritual, nor caring, only when one first joins in membership. After that, they show their true nature, careerist "reverends" that are the go-tos if you need to speak to someone. Don't believe what they tell you.

I love this Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church ministry and I watch the Sunday services live steam every Sunday. After my church service,, I come and live steam Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church services.The pastor, praise team, worship experience, music ministry, awesome and anointed. Pastor Marcus Cosby is an anointed, God-fearing, dedicated man of God. Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church you are #1 in my book . I enjoy Pastor Cosby sermons; his anointed preaching of the word of God, has blessed and encouraged me tremendously. I have enjoyed Pastor Cosby's testimony about his son's healing from the ear infection. The miracle testimony of the "Ear Girl/ Doctor"; that sermon and testimony blessed my soul! I was shouting and praising God in my home for his son's healing. God is good all the time! God is the healers! FANTASTIC FOLKS! GREAT WORSHIP EXPERIENCE 👍 Whoever said that all Mega Churches are cold and unfriendly places, have never experienced Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston. Not only are Pastor and Mrs.Cosby warm and welcoming people, the same can be said of many of the members and people in leadership. The entire worship experience is amazing. There's several programs for elementary age children as well as the preschool. The worship and fellowship for Middle and high school is engaging and progressive. The service moves at a good pace with dynamic energy. There much more for all ages.
