Wait house is a great place for the first couple weeks you are there, then it just gets degrading..male staff in a sensitive home dress coding women and taking pictures of things that aren’t that serious just to make people feel bad about themselves…it’s a good program on the emergency side but the residential side gets a whole different attitude and it feels like your suffocating when your suppose to be growing. Taking away things for everyone because one residence can’t follow a rule. Kids can’t use certain things and be loud around the house without complaints when kids should just be kids. I understand some rules make sense like curfews and what not but the fact that some male staff go a little overboard and act like a parental figure telling the children how to act is ridiculous and should be looked upon. Another note, 3am room checks when people are sleeping or up watching their phones are very invasive and scary to be honest..and it’s happened to multiple residents. Please take a look at the picture and tell me do you think that’s called for ? Very uncalled for when the mess is a couple dishes and the stove is still shining just a few spots of crust…I’m not making this post to be crude or anything. Just some awareness that something’s happing inside that house is a bit much and not helping the already suffering residents going through deep depression and independence issues…pictures and dress codes and unruly structure doesn’t really help you become independent..again not being rude hope this place can improve.

Moms that aren’t working have to be out between 1 and 4 pm they are not allowed to go make there kids food or even lay them down for naps if they try they rush you as you are in the middle of making your kid food who is hungry and expect your kid to wait to take a nap at 4 like it’s not fair for the kids

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The staff is judgmental and pick favorites and kick you out on devious unfactual things. I was called a racist homiphobe because I said slay to a gay employee in a non homifobic manner and I was called a racist due to having a don’t tread on me flag inside my suit case. Mind you my best friend there that also lived there was a black Trans man.. Agian they pick favorites. I was kicked out for hugging a friend who was moving out! They don’t let diabetics or anyone have food past eight. They barely have food and don’t allow u to bring in any. They think it’s funny to gossip and such about you (I’m talking about the staff). They induce fights and drama.
