Just for eany one who contacts them for rent assistance.they only help for the month that you owe so if you are behind more than 1 month and have an eviction notice don't bother wasted 2 weeks waiting for them to tell me this in a 6 second phone call.commynity action do better put that in the application so people don't waste their time.

somehow they’re never able to help me. they helped a girl I know who’s pregnant & not high risk, in my same situation but somehow I don’t meet their “ criteria “. It makes absolutely no sense. I don’t understand how I don’t meet their criteria either, they give you no explanation just “ we don’t have any more funding “ which is bullshit cause they’ll turn around & help the next person who’s in a better situation than me.

Im only giving 3stars because despite seeing them help many people and helping me with Heat, what I’m going through right now is very stressful And in going to them they tell me I don’t qualify, for rental help.but don’t tell me why. I’m a senior, I have several medical conditions and am about to become homeless. I tried to appeal the decision but they wouldn’t even take my appeal paper work. I know this is a good program. But they’re really letting me down at the worst point in my life that I had no control over.
