I volunteer and this is the kindest and greatly respectful food bank. Amazing group of people who serve others. The vegetables are beautiful and the other food is excellent. About 70 pounds every time.

The trip parish food bank has been a lifesaver. Without these kind folks distributing food, I do believe that I would not be able to afford it. The service is always kind and friendly, and each one of the (I believe) volunteer staff are open and easy to talk to.
The food that you get is not expired or rotting, and you're able to stay in your car the entire time. The staff puts the food into your vehicle and you just drive down a line as they fill you up.
Masks are required, so please, for your safety and the safety of the staff, wear one. If you do not have masks, sometimes they will have some to be able to give you.

The volunteers are friendly to your face, and the committee and rulership is... Measured by position and possession of material wealth, they make all their money by procuring free labor and volunteers. It's like a self centered business when examined very closely. "Be sure and mark down all the hrs you put in so we can bill the government funding" I was told after not reporting all my hard work, security and loyalty.
