About This Service
TCUGM is the only homeless shelter in the Tri-Cities area. We help those struggling with homelessness and addiction find hope and healing.

Ya Know alot of people say that they would never stay at the mission, but it's a good place when you have no place to go when you don't have a place to stay, a roof over your head, a bed to sleep in, and free food, it's all free, just do a couple of chores, and go to chapel, that's all you have to do, some people can't even do that. The mission has saved me quite a few times, THANK GOD FOR THE MISSION!!!!.

Very nice place,b well set up & do what they say their for. Most of not all the funds come from donations with none or very little government/tax payer funds used

I have a friend named Yashu staying there right now.he called me this afternoon said they told him to leave until 5:00pm he was standing in the rain getting soaked he said..when i asked what happen he said one of their staff is targeting him.some guy named Colten.He said the guy accused him of having food in His dorm and then later admitted to him he found this on a top bunk..he says they aren't fans of Mormons either .Yashu is a Mormon and has been struggling to keep his faith .He says he believes that why the guy is targeting him..As a attorney here in seattle I've been in court over civil matters just like this ,DISCRIMINATION..persecution for religion..so I did some research on the Union Gospel Mission,they have a history of these behaviors and have been sued in the past for it..I told yashu to go through the proper channels why he's residing there to grieve his issue about this employee harassing him .I told him to document times and places the interaction between him and this staff occur.i also told him to make sure he has witnesses and try to be in view of the facility cameras.and then I told him if they kick him out without probable cause to contact me and I'll Litagate and public disclose the necessitys.such as videos and incident report.and pull the back ground up of the employee to see if this is a pattern for him..Hopefully Yashu makes it through till December first.but he seemed like with the recent altercations he might not make till the end of next week..not a good place to be
