I knew someone in need of help and Transitions assisted the person right away.

Was there yrs. Back and I can't remember her name. She may have been the director at the time.She brought the groceries in most of the time,had long dreds with glasses and her eyes were kinda crooked. But anyways she was very rude nasty & I feel like maybe she should have retired. Cause coming in to a place we're you are trying to get away from a abuser or if just down on your luck and homeless. She really made you feel more worthless

Absolutely the worst program I have ever had to work with. It’s sad to say the just do not care about anyone or anything. They claim they provide assistance. Yeah that’s not true at all. They’re rude, they’re demeaning, unprofessional, and just absolutely horrible. I’ve been called names by my “advocate” and it’s a joke. Stay far away if you have any shred of hope for a better life

Umm, I stayed there for 2 months. It was not a good experience, they staff really didn't assist you, the women in there were dirty, no one wanted to clean up, I contributed all i could then got TALKED down to because I did all the chores...i appreciate the roof over my head, but I wouldn't RECOMMEND this shelter.

Someone called them for help, they did nothing, they didn't return her calls, they didn't talk to her, anything. Now she is going back to her abuser, you guys failed her. It took years and a huge support system to get her to make that call.
