Horrible Experience bordering on Malpractice! Led me on for over a year, believing I was waiting to see an Actual doctor only to find out that the only Medical Professional they have there is a Nurse (albeit with many years experience) but I specifically asked for a doctor. I knew it may take a long time as the waiting list was 12-18 months once you got on the list. But then after over a year, when I asked “When may I be seeing the doctor?” I was only then informed that “Oh well she is only a nurse but she is very good.” I don’t care how good she is, she is not a Psychiatrist or a Psychologist. Not to mention in the entire time I was there, I was working with an intern who was going to be leaving. So after a year of working with this person she informed me of her departure at the same time I found out there is no doctor here. And this is all AFTER they received $1000s of dollars of my money, via my insurance. I now have $100s of dollars of debt from all the copays and I got virtually NOTHING out of it. SHAMEFUL!

The counseling center did a great disservice that still echoes in distress today as my son is grown. I was an attentive mother seeking help and counseling for my son and I who had a strained relationship in his teens. After working with a counselor for over a year It was suggested that he attend a program called the turning point program that was set up to help our relationship and the troubles we were facing. The turning point program did everything but support our relationship which still today remains no contact. I had put in all of the work and beyond each week and everything was based around his needs. He was rewarded for not working with me as his parent and as the person who raised him. They had put him in places with molesters present and other host parents who never respected me as a mother, so still today although I did everything possible to work on the relationship and the troubles he was experiencing they have helped contribute in a negative way and now he is grown this has carried with him and he is very disrespectful and filled with animosity towards me. The turning point program and the family counseling center was my only hope of keeping him out of alternative school where he was headed due to his manipulative behavior and being kicked out of the school systems. As a parent reaching out for help, I'd be cautious of going this route for help as they have created a lifetime of dysfunction. Thankfully after he graduated the program I was able to talk him into seeing an army recruiter which today has changed his life and he seems to be doing well due to that option. The turning point program was his decision and mine after counseling and behavior programs the counseling weren't helping after a year or more of being with them. I cannot recommend as today what I sought help for was denied. If the center has improved that's great but beware. This is your life and if the wrong people are in charge of it they will forever create more damage.

Multiple times, I have gone to this center for assistance due to domestic violence and have been gaslit and denied help. The attacks have led to deaths.
