All I can do is laugh. These people were so unwelcoming and unhelpful it was ridiculous. Oh my goodness the blank stares and silence made me extremely uncomfortable. My mom and I walked right out of the door after 5 minutes of asking questions. No wonder there are so many jobless and struggling people in this city. Nobody wants to help anybody! At least give people a chance. SMH.

If I could leave these stars blank I would. My unemployment claim has been pending since June 24, 2020. There's a manager that asked me to hand deliver a document that was delayed by the clinic and she promised me a swifter response if I did so. I dropped the document off on 8/12/2020 & it still has not been scanned to my file. Now that I've returned to the office to inquire about the scan the little man security officer told me to give them time. I asked how much time he told me no specific amount of time with a nasty mannerism like I was getting on his nerve. He wouldn't give my number to the manager on duty. When I asked his name he closed the door in my face. When I'm done I hope he is waiting for an unemployment claim. I can't find out the company name but I will and I'm filing a complaint for the way he treated me. If he's not directly employed by the unemployment office, why is he answering questions instead of relaying messages to the actual workers? What's the purpose of him bringing a clipboard to the door the isn't writing down client information?

I've been to this location twice and there is definitely some issues at this location. First off communication is a big problem! I think the people here think they know what you need before you can explain. They are also older so I don't know if it's an age thing or a senile thing...I really am not sure. The security is definitely rude and I don't see why you would need to be agressive rude and hostile in an unemployment office...clearly the wrong place for such a negative attitude. The people in the back are more professional and a little more organized but the front is a bit unorganized and they have a lot of rules and procedures that seem rather unnecessary. I sat in a seat that sain computer not working waiting for my friend to return from the back...security told me very rudely I can't sit there! Why I asked? She stated thats the rules and rolled her eyes like I was getting on her nerves. It's a wonder anyone come in here for help it's a bit restrictive and people are unaware of how they trample on the people who are here for help dignity. It's not what you say sometimes but how you say it!!! A friendly smile and a genuine desire to be of help can go a long way.
