OMG!!! St. Vincent De Paul worked a miracle for me. Special thanks to Ms. Laura Gibbs and her supervisor for approving me for a $2000.00 grant for my moving expenses. It was such a blessing!! I followed every instruction that was given to me. I wanted to give up at times because everyday it was a different qualification or they needed this documentation. But I stayed the race, cause it’s not given to strong or the weak it is given to the one who endures to the end of race!!! I WON THE RACE!!! Thank you St. Vincent De Paul and your staff.

This place doesn't care about the people, I'm shocked there are even positive reviews but then again they're probably paid and officiated to keep it up and running, I got there freezing, looking to simply sit maybe an hour or two for the warming center, this guy with bloodshot eyes opened the door carelessly and shooed me away. A complete front of an organization pretending to even care about anyone. If you're cold and carless in Atlanta do NOT waste your walk here. I ended up in the hospital and am now just being released after two days, thank goodness for a nice civilian who found me near the train station up the street, I didn't even know I had passed out. It's 30 below outside and I was doing the best I could to stay warm, the nurse said she couldn't even get blood from me until I warmed up. I almost died because I thought this place cared about the next person. I was wrong. Brutally. But the situation had family alerted because of it and the family is helping me and keeping me warm.

This is by far one of the most unorganized and unhelpful charity organizations I’ve ever dealt with. I submitted an application after being told they could assist me. They repeatedly requested additional information, and I provided everything they asked for—multiple times. Despite this, there were long periods with no response, and whenever I followed up for a status update, only then would they review my application.
After I made a complaint to a manager, things actually got worse. I was asked to resend the same documents I had already submitted, and the caseworker became increasingly difficult to deal with—almost as if they were intentionally making the process harder.
A charity is supposed to help people, but this organization did the opposite. They misled me, wasted my time, and treated me poorly throughout the process. I would not recommend this charity to anyone.
