Been looking for a new church home after my other church had a few splits, affairs, drama, etc., but wanted one that wasn't afraid of the gift of tongues and worship (nearly impossible to find these days). I have felt more hungry for church for the first time in years, there's an anointing here, and they care about souls, not numbers. My only suggestion is to maybe switch the youth nights or add another one? My teens would love to attend the youth group, but it's on Wednesdays when they have school functions throughout the week, would love to see some youth groups meet on Sundays when there's nothing extracurricular going on.

I'm sorry but I believe this place is filled with heresy and here's how. After going a few weeks without being able to attend any church service (because I need to take a Lyft to go to most church services here) I finally had the funds to go attend a service. Decided where I was going last night. Unfortunately I quickly left and didn't make it to the service as I was sitting outside the sanctuary watching on the TV as the first service was ending and there was definitely false teaching. So much so I instantly left. Pastor basically denied the work of the Holy Spirit. Saying that the Holy Spirit won't make your mouth move (the pastor and whoever else was on the stage speaking were speaking in tongues and encouraging everyone in the congregation to speak in tongues); as Scripture shows the Holy Spirit fell onto the apostles and then they started speaking in tongues. "And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance" (Acts 2:4, ESV). To clarify even further, to tell an entire congregation of which not everyone is most likely a believer and filled with the Holy Spirit to open their mouths to speak in tongues and going around laying hands on people's heads as you slowly walk through the congregation is well...ya know... One needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit, we even see this later when Peter goes to Cornelius and shares about Jesus. The Holy Spirit then falls on all those who heard the Word and they start speaking in tongues (signifying those who heard believed). There's even testimonies to this day of people having a translator with them and the translator is amazed because the person who needed the translator in another country is actually talking with the person they are sharing the Gospel with in that language. For example, a person speaking in English trying to share the Gospel with someone who only speaks Arabic. English speaker doesn't know any Arabic so needs a translator but the English speaker ends up speaking in Arabic to the person who speaks only Arabic and the English speaker ends up being unaware.

Great Church the Pastor and leaders spend hours upon hours praying about the message. This is not a job for the Pastor, but his calling from God. The truth of God is tought here.

This church has a real passion for the Lord. Great music. There are many strong people involved in preaching and teaching. I haven't been going very long but would definitely recommend this church.
