I had a great experience there they didn't make me feel like I was nothing they helped Lift Me Up and it's a different experience from going to a normal food bank this is set up like you're shopping, a volunteer goes with you with a grocery and pick out from different sections, they let you get stuff that suits you instead of just giving you a box full of beans and powdered milk it's the best assistance for food that I've received it's a really great place and they also have options to meet with the a caseworker to help you with other things I haven't signed up for that yet but it was a really hard walk for me to get there I walked for 29 blocks and I didn't have money for the bus to go back so they gave me a bus pass they said they normally don't do that but in my case where I have knee problems and they could tell I was completely worn out that I couldn't make it anymore to walk so they did give me a bus pass they're really great I recommend them to anyone who needs help with food

These are really wonderful people. They have been helping my community long before I was born. They've always been the friendliest, sweetest ladies you'll ever meet and they have made sure that countless families in my neighborhood didn't go hungry. They really are a blessing from God.
