SIRA is doing wonderful and necessary work in the Gainesville community. All human life is sacred. SIRA is an organization that stands for life and supports moms, dads, and families as they deal with planned and unplanned pregnancies.
My own family has benefited from SIRA's services, particularly the free ultrasounds they offer. We had a wonderful experience, greeted by the friendly staff in bright and clean environment. The ultrasound technician even prayed for our baby and our family at the end of the appointment!

I came to this "clinic" for regular STI testing. This is not a medical facility. I think the only medical professional on staff is their RN (who admitted that she doesn't care to follow the new CDC recommendations) and the rest of the services are provided by front desk staff. Their STI tests are exclusively for chylamdia and gonorrhea which can be helpful in a college town but trichomoniasis and genital herpes are two of the most common STIs. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, this clinic is a faith focused organization. After given my results, the RN told me that I need to think about becoming abstinent and getting my "secondary virginity". I was also given a pamphlet with the quote "Your capacity to say no determines your capacity to say yes to greater things." Do not recommend, especially if you're pregnant and unsure about maintaining the pregnancy. I have heard from several other people that although the front desk ladies are super sweet, they tend to push their Christian ideology onto you and pressure you into keeping the fetus. I'm glad they're providing a free and vital service, I just wish it wasn't so bad.
