So terrible I was constantly given the run around I didn't see any women of color in Brentwood or at the said "shelter". Don't waste your time if your a Hispanic women or a woman of color. It seems to me as though they only have space there for the women who work there and not for women fleeing from rape or domestic violence. But honestly all of Brentwood has been very racist even with looking for employment in the City. I was Asked to do a TB test and left several messages spoke several times with the intake and nobody ever returned my call like the voicemail says that they would. I also stopped by several times and even personally handed my TB test results. Super disappointed that these non-profits seem to just be making a profit for themselves.

God-bless these people for what they do! However it's an issue when trying to call to submit a donation, and no one will answer the phone... I can't imagine how somebody in a crisis feels getting a RECORDING!... A lot of time, there is a very small window when an abused woman reaches out. A recording is the LAST thing they need. Heartbreaking. Love Peace and Prayers to these women and children.

The girls in this program are amazing and very sweet, all very excepting and loving. Staff on the other hand sone kind, some not so much. Also if you forget anything there as i forgot my babies clothes there went back an hour drive and $60 dollars later they refused to give me his items back, some things sentimental. If you want to be in a program that is a residential semi lock down this is a perfect place, doors are locked, cell phones removed, contact to all supportive gone until told otherwise, strict routine, no cofee after 12pm may be earlier. Chores must be done to a T. Everything asked must be done. Warning if you smoke cigerats or vape bring what you can because once your out that is it. They also do not allow certain people with bpd which i think is judgemental. They should except anybody no matter what as long as they do not have a violent record. The home and neighborhood is beautiful. This is basically a christian based residential.
