The staff is up speaking until 3AM and just very unprofessional. Any one of the people living there can say any false statement to the front desk about anyone else living there and they then kick people out. Will call DCFS at the drop of a hat

I helped a friend move here to stay in this shelter. It is run very poorly. They didn't provide food like they were supposed to. (State funded food allowance.)Also didn't monitor behavior with the residents in the shelter. There was a lot of fighting between the women staying there for protection.They don't help the residents transition out with jobs or housing. I would not recommend unless you are desperate.

During the most difficult time of my life I called for shelter and was accepted only to be called back and said oppps it will bring us over capacity. Then when I spoke to her supervisor I was disregarded like it wasn’t important. I went a distance and got stranded.awful
