I wish I had the experience everyone else had coming here. But the older man working today (6/5/23) for the food bank was RUDE! Beyond rude. We told him we were coming from the Salvation Army he called us liars, we not there…had to prove we were. was rude the entire time…we finally walk in he snatching chairs with an attitude a bunch of chairs fall…he had a stern rude attitude demanding our IDs and was mad a couple of us had to fill out applications because we had never been there. the look on his face was just evil. he was acting like we completely disturbed his day trying to get food boxes. I left with nothing because I was uncomfortable even getting help after his actions. Sir you need a different career cause helping people in need dang sure ain’t your calling. None of us deserved that we were respectful and polite. Unimpressed and unprofessional. He does not reflect the Salvation Army because everyone here where I stay is so sweet and so helpful. I’m just blown away by how he acted. Nobody should feel like they a burden at a place that helps people. He was acting like he bought the food and we was taking from his mouth lol I’ll never go back. I hope he finds peace in whatever really got him this angry.
