I am biased towards the Salvation Army, but this location is special. They have a men's shelter that really focuses on getting people back on their feet. I understand that they will eventually ope a women's side, as well. The new Lieutenants here really have great hearts! If every Salvation Army provided all the services this location does, there would be no need for many of the other non-profits in their areas.

I go there to donate food they are always grateful I give because there is people that needs food and clothing and other services

We're to I start I went to the salvation army today to get help with my Rent I had all the paperwork that I was told to bring well when I got there the lady at the front desk was so rude to me and got loud with me balm me for not having a job due to covid, the nice black man tried to calm use down from getting angry she turn to him and said stay out of it!! And yell at him I felt so bad, then he went outside to refer me to other places to try and offer me food, unlike the other lady, as he was talking to me his supervisor then came out the door and said mind your own business to him and walk off it's crazy how they treated him there black employee Kevin, and treated me very disrectful , the worst place every

What a fantastic criminal major Don is. Yes he does treat some women and children fairly, but the blood of Lenard is on the misguided self righteous hands of Don Wildish. At first I too was immune and did not see his evil mechanisms he thrust upon quite a few. Most normal christians would not wish to thrust hate upon people before their crime is known, and would not believe the attempts of this soulless man. I slowly came to realize as he stole my own funds personally. As the friend of an employee I repeated asked the nasty red haired woman for my friends pay as his determination failed in regards to this man from Florida. He was even forced to go to Salvation Headquarters in Dallas to no avail. I was fortunate enough to meet an honest major in Spokane WA who demanded he pay the check he owes my friend, upon telling him my story of watching this major basically threaten resident Lenard to close to zero temps if he did not do the work his doctor had specifically ordered him not to do. The tiny minds of small town citizens may be easily manipulated but the mind of god knows and he is the only one who need know of the greed in this majors heart which completely consumes any room for love and empathy. He falsely proclaims many things to the naive congregation. They (Don and wife) did not attempt to subvert my knowledge of the activities of this place, as their comfort in their brainwashing of their employees was thorough, besides the employees are also poor, so how could they possibly take a stand against Don Wildish as Jesus most definitely will. He relies on forgiveness in a way god will see right through and completely deny.Proclaim and ask forgiveness for your crimes against those you do not cherish Don Wildish because god does cherish those you have victimized since becoming the major in Denison, TX and your activities are not hidden to him. You cannot hold forgiveness in a box until it is necessary to use, God is way beyond your hopefull beliefs of your own forgiveness.

The staff is amazing and that is not saying enough. It was such a relief to have somebody on my team when i wanted to give up but couldn't because my family depended on me finding the solution. I am eternally grateful to the staff up at Salvation Army.
