About This Service
Our confidential and secure Safe House provides a temporary safe place for victims of domestic violence (and their children) who are forced to flee their home for safety reasons. Advocates are on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support, education and counseling, as well as information and referral to community resources. Services provided during the stay help to stabilize the victim’s immediate crisis as well as support long term goal planning.

Terrible. Cannot get through to anyone. Calls and emails are ignored. The fact PPL forces you to go through these people for their own programs is ridiculous.

It used to be a place of hope and trust. Today it is an organization staffed with mediocre, disgruntled employees who are not even pretending anymore to serve people of Lancaster County. People who ask for help are often misled and their concerns dismissed with no effort to understand their situation, employees are not answering or returning phone calls, favors are traded for favors and often reserved for friends and family of employees, there is absolutely no necessary oversight to control corruption and favoritism. It is time for our community to start an honest discussion about corruption and incompetence that plagues CAP.

I had the most difficult time getting in contact with this office for weeks. I had sent two emails with info on my serious issues regarding my OnTrack account. PPL supervisors are continuously urgently the importancy to get in communication with said office. Even the representative or receptionist isn't working said on reasonable working hours. Frustrating.
