The lady I spoke with first off was terribly rude!! Like why have such a nasty person be there voice of help she definitely picks and chooses who they would like to help and they are super rude about it I felt like because I was black she tried to make it seem as if I was lying about my hardship she’s disgusting!! And I pray Jehovah has mercy on her people like her don’t deserve to be in positions like that this place is trash there’s plenty of others places that I now know of that will help these people aren’t using their money to help no one but their kind BYE HOPFULLY THE NEXT STROM WIPES THAT BUSINESS OUT NEXT THEY AREN'T HERE TO HELP!!! They are FRAUDS wish I could rate this place -0!!!!

I recently applied for assitance because i was laid off from my job during covid in july 2020. My unemployment has been pending for over three months which caused my rent and other utilities to be behind so i contacted rooftop to assist me . They asked for every documentation and was provided with everything just to deny me. Im furious and upset because why would you deny me if im asking for help and ive told you my story. only one person answers the phone. i wouldnt recommend this company because it seems like they act like they would pay just to deny you. This hAS BEEN A HORRIBLE EXPEREINCE WITH THIS COMPANY.

Melissa was beyond rude. This is suppose to be a professional organization to help people who fall short. I got told my situation was not a requirement but why not. If it was a emergency how can I be denied. These people pick and choose who they want to help. I needed to file a complaint on this Melissa because not only after I explained why I needed the help, and cried she hung up on me. She hung on on me because I was trying to get a understanding on how they approve people. I sent emails to complain still havent heard anything back. I am a single mother of 4 kids who pay regular rent like a average person. I do not get child support, any kind of government assistance, and I usually maintain just fine. The one time I really do need help I get denied according to the requirements they make up along the way. They have all these places that help people who already have based on income rent or section 8. They dont question those people when they walk in and say they need assistance here I am not lazy I get up and work like Im suppose to and cant get help. These people need to be reported to News channel 5 investigates seriously!!!!! Melissa thanks for not helping and you really need to work on your customer service skills, emphany, tone, attitude and much much more. Your services suck and you do not care to help people that really need it. You really deserve a -5 rating for how you treated me.

I recently needed help from rooftop and had an excellent experience. I am so blessed to have met Melissa. Despite the reviews I have read about her, she is a very helpful and focused woman. She helped me and my family beyond average. I honestly had given up on my situation and was very depressed. Melissa answered my calls and emails with no problems. She was never rude to me even though the apartment was given us the run around. I Thank God for her and I know she will be blessed. I really appreciate you Melissa and my family and I thank you for everything you done for us!

The worst experience ever, I was treated like I was trash. I came to them looking for help and was treated like I was bothering them. Melissa was the most rudest person, even when I ended are calls with thank you, she would yeah and hang u the phone. When I meet her in person her attitude was worst. I was rush through my appointment and was told she has other appointments. I had everything she asked me for even let her talk to my landlord, but she was trying her hardest to find something to complain about and to not help me. When i did try to defend my self she packed up her paper like shes had enough an was finna leave the room. Finally she gives me a deadline of tomorrow at 4pm for me to get half the rent, in order for them to qualify to help me. I was very nice to her because I needed the help.
