This is nothing but a baby mill, they want you to do well and they advocate for you while you’re pregnant (taking maternity pictures buying you things etc..) and then as soon as you have your baby they become your worst nightmare. If you don’t sign custody of your children over to them (Jonah’s Journey) they will make sure that you are kicked out and/or lose your child to the point where you become homeless and have nowhere to go and never get your child back. Leslie Schenk herself has been involved in several “kidnappings” covered by the façade of “doing the right thing” on behalf of DCS and renewal house. 🙄 This facility is a joke! She has people on the outside on waiting lists that she knows desperately want a baby and she fulfills those needs by personally taking custody of the babies and/or creating situations in which DCS can intervene.

I highly recommend The Renewal House. I can't scream my testimony loud enough. This was an opportunity of a lifetime. This place changed my life, my children's life, and even my mother's life. I am so grateful for the experience.

The renewal house was a great place to live before the new supervisor over case managers got hired.. That woman doesn't have a heart she don't believe in second chances she been kicking them girls out left and right ..I truly believe that she is going to be the renewal houses down fall
