The one time I need help.. I didn't have an original Birth certificate. But I had one. She cancelled my appointment. If I had money to get one I wouldn't need the assistance. Now they don't give you any type of certificate from the hospital. Just a piece of paper. That doesn't help a new parent. Blah. You asked Google.

I hate saying this but if you are considering applying, you may want to reconsider. We can’t afford our rent now as it’s increasing. Today we failed our surprise first inspection since they never notified us of the inspection. Unless the guy who did ours was just a Grade A ahole who hates cats, you need to be a neat freak in order to pass. We went over their inspection list and made sure everything good. However this guy failed us for having 2 cats, a dirty dish on the stove from the night before, the house being slightly cluttered (college students with 2 kids, one who’s disabled), and my kids dirty clothes on the floor because they are kids. We passed the actually inspection however because of those things above he choice to fail us anyway. So unless you want to worry about failing an inspection for any reason, whenever they choose to randomly show up, consider other options. Will post update after re-inspection.

Trying to get a hold of your caseworker is never going to happen leaving a voicemail and email is pointless they do not ever reply back to you, you're lucky if you call and they answer their phone it seems like they are always in meetings. With evidence of showing that you're homeless or anything you would think they would expedite your process knowing you have a voucher they do not care, I have now came to the understanding of why I see a lot of homeless people here in Amarillo

The lady at the front when you walk in was so so cold. She acted like she was only there because it's a job and only there for the money. She didn't give any compassion or any help. She just said here and handed me a business card and said in a cold voice we Only do business online. There website is very UNpeople friendly to users. I couldn't get website to work. It keep saying there were problems and they were Trying to fix it but I still keep getting the same message.
