I would have to disagree with the bad reviews below mine. Anyone who has left a 1 star review most likely got kicked out of our mother's house for not following the simple rules. They helped me & my little one so much. I absolutely loved my apartment and felt right at home. They pay for you to go to counseling and also show grace when you're late or short on rent. I never had any problems while staying there. If anything it taught me stability and independence. Also, they pay 100% for your little ones daycare and they use one of the best schools around. They offer schooling and you can also get a laptop for free from them when you enlist in school. My case worker was Molly and she always strived to help me achieve my goals and was very compassionate towards me. My favorite part aside from getting your own apartment, is Christmas. I've never been spoiled to much in my entire life. They have donars adopt us families individually and they go all out for your Christmas. Also, there are a few parks right across from the apartments, so you can take your little one there or to the beach, which is only half a mile from your apartment. When you're following the rules and paying your rent, they aim to help you in whatever way they can. For example, I was having a hard time keeping up with my car insurance monthly. They helped pay SIX months of car insurance on my car, that took such a huge weight off of my shoulders. If I could go back and relive my time at Omh, I would in a heart beat. I've seen a lot of successful girls graduate that program and move on to bigger things. In fact, they helped one of my friends get into school for nursing. Also, you are responsible for your own food, however, if you're in a bind the front office upon request can gift you with gift cards to Publix, Walmart or Target to be used for groceries. Id love to add that they provide EVERYTHING each month. Your case worker will fill a basket full of diapers, wipes, all hygiene products, toiletries and cleaning supplies. If I could rate this place higher than 5, I would. I miss this place so much and I am proud to be a omh graduate. :)

This place took me and my daughter I'm when no one else would. She is on a feeding tube and they are the only program willing to accept us. I thank God for them every day. 🙏 I am going to continue to thrive here because that's what they helps mothers do.

Do not donate to this organization.They are evil. Not to mention the girls do not get any of the donations. They do not help with permanent housing and the apartments that they make us pay for each month are infested with black mold, so bad they get the children and the mother's sick to the point where they have to go to the hospital. Multiple times. I have permanent lung damage from living at our mother's house.My child stayed sick. They never helped with anything. And when I found out about the mold, they pretty much threatened to kick me out because I wouldn't sign a contract saying I was responsible for the mold. They made a contract out of thin air, making all of us, mom, sign it and trying to flip It around in case we tried to sue for damages that it was our responsibility. My air conditioner was broke and the humidity in my apartment was over eighty five percent all the time, which made mold spores grow rapid. I was always in complete compliance with Catholic charities. Until I started asking questions, then I had a target on me, I was the only one that went to school and graduated. I didn't receive any help when I was in school. Being a single mom going to school for welding, I trade most men Can hardly do. I had to babysit other Mother's. Children to come up with the rent money gas to drive all the way to bradington, everyday and for food.I literally ate my child's scraps to survive on. They parade us around and act like they're doing something so righteous, it's all a lie and a scam to get your money. Then they have the audacity to boast about how they raised two hundred and thirty six thousand dollars and one night adder wine tasting event. They never gave me a scholarship to go to school.It wasn't through them.It was through the state. So not only are they making money off of your donations, they're making money off of tax cuts, because it's technically a religious establishment, even though there was no talk about god or religion at all. They also get money from us each month when we have to pay rent. And if we were late on rent, then we got hit with late fees, no questions asked, no excuse, given They made us go to the most ridiculous classes.Mandatory didn't matter if you have covid or not.If you had a sick baby or not. Our mother's house is like a cult. They try to brainwash you and make you think that they're trying to help you. Where is the help? They don't help you with food. You have to pay for the housing. They separate you from your child immediately. Even though your baby is just born and try to push you to go to work, so you can pay rent. I've seen them turn down food. Donations close donations, and even people trying to donate cars. I know 10 women over there that needed a car. All of us were hard for food for clothes for our children, but because they didn't profit off of it, they didn't allow it to be donated. Think about it, if they were really doing the right thing, they would accept all donations, not just money. What are they gonna do with food or kids clothes. This place is absolutely disgusting. They need to get sued for getting people sick. Ask any of the Mother's there, if they have mold in their apartments? It's a giant cover up and they get away with it because they have less than ten apartments in each structure. Call any air conditioner unit company to come fix an air conditioner and mention our mother's house and see what they say.If you think i'm lying, they won't even let them on the property.
