I approached NYLAG few years ago, desperately seeking help with my issue. However, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disheartening.
From the very beginning, communication with the firm was a significant challenge. When I initially called, the assistant handling my case was not only impatient but also displayed a lack of empathy. The series of questions she asked took hours to answer, and her constant sighs during the process added to the already stressful situation.
After numerous attempts to follow up, I was finally assigned a lawyer for my case. Unfortunately, the experience only went downhill from there. When I submitted the requested documents, the lawyer's response was not only unprofessional but downright disrespectful. He yelled at me and questioning the quality of the photos, without offering constructive feedback. Despite retaking the photos as requested, there were no follow-ups or communication.
I made several attempts to contact the lawyer, but my calls went unanswered. Finally, when he did call, my hopes were shattered as he informed me that he was leaving the firm, leaving my case unresolved. The firm assured me they would assign a new lawyer, but that promise was never fulfilled.
To this day, I have given up on NYLAG. Their lack of compassion, empathy, and communication has left me in a state of frustration and despair. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere for legal assistance.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Yuliya Dolich New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) Coordinating Senior Paralegal, Immigrant Protection Unit, DOJ Accredited Representative Ukrainian Immigrant Assistance Project , who handled my green card case with exceptional professionalism and dedication. From the very beginning, she demonstrated a remarkable level of competence, responsibility, and attention to detail. Every document, every step, every deadline was managed with precision and care.
Throughout the entire process, Yuliya was consistently patient, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable. She explained each stage clearly, guided me through complex requirements, and always made sure I felt informed and confident. Her communication was prompt and thorough, and I always felt that my case was in reliable hands.
What impressed me most was her genuine commitment to helping me achieve the best possible outcome. She approached my case not just as a routine task, but with real empathy and understanding. Thanks to her professionalism and hard work, the entire process went smoothly and successfully.
I am truly grateful for everything she has done!
