2nd update: Since the agency replied to my updated review, I wanted to add the coercion I mention is due to a couple factors: this agency is owned/operated by the same company as a crisis pregnancy center. And 2 while I understand there is a different team to help with adoptions. When I went to the crisis pregnancy center, I felt very pressured/forced to take an adoption business card. I repeatedly said I didn’t want it, but I just ended up taking it because it felt like I didn’t have an option, I was uncomfortable and just wanted to end the interaction. 1st update: I wanted to add to my review that the director of this agency called me personally and left me a message. She offered to refer me to other adoption agencies, no where in this review do I mention that I am interested in pursuing adoption. Also I see that they had a bunch of other birth moms leave reviews recently. I find it super odd that no birth mom leaves a review for years, then I post a negative one and suddenly multiple birth moms leave 5 star reviews. I’m not saying every adoption is horrible or that all adoptive parents are bad. If I were considering adoption as a parent I would be super hesitant to work with this agency. I would want to know that the birth mom placing her child with me did it without coercion, and based on my experience with this agency I wouldn’t say you could think or guarantee that. Original review: They are apart of the first care pregnancy centers I think they are owned/run by the same company. I think it’s extremely unethical to have an adoption agency be so interconnected to a crisis pregnancy center. They don’t work with same sex couples. At first care, the option to adopt is forced on you, which would mean working with this agency. It’s also all faith based. If I were an adoptive parent I would be very cautious that the birth mom I match with wasn’t coerced into her choice.

Placing my son for adoption was the hardest decision I’ve ever made, and I wouldn’t have made it through without the support of New Life Family Adoptions. From the beginning, they listened without judgment and walked with me every step of the way. They supported me through parenting, providing services I couldn't afford at the time, and supported my decision to place my son for adoption at 3 months old. Being connected with other birth mothers gave me a sense of community and understanding I didn’t know I needed. New Life also hosts special events that have helped me feel seen and valued, especially on Birth Mother’s Day—a time they’ve turned into something beautiful and honoring. Thanks to their ongoing support, I’ve found strength in my story and peace in knowing my son is loved and thriving.

I have worked with New Life Adoptions since placing my daughter over 10 years ago. They are an incredible organization that is deeply involved in their communities. They are dedicated to the families they work with, and continue to offer support and guidance long after placement. I have always found great comfort in the staff at New Life, and I felt heard and supported, never pressured, as I worked my way through making my own adoption decision. I am grateful for their continued support over the years and look forward to working with them in the future!
