Michelle Veach rated 2 11 months ago I have heard Nashville is taking domestic violence seriously for calls from the home so 2 stars but I dont have experience there. Williamson County has a very lax and lazy policies, treat victims poorly, don't enforce protection orders, and escalate situations verus protecting victims and families. Something needs done. Police audit please! |
Marissa Desgranges rated 1 a year ago As a victim of DV, the one place you should feel safe and comfortable to turn to has turned out to be the complete opposite. Nothing but empty promises, putting you in harm's way on multiple occasions, leaving/isolating you to do everything on your own and completely abandoning you...if you thought you were broken before coming here, they'll make sure to show you that you weren't and they'll break you themselves. Don't bother trying to call daily to follow up on your case or get any help - Nobody follows up with you. Nobody cares about you or what you've been or are currently going through. You are nothing more than another ignored piece of paper set aside on a desk. If they send you to the Office Of Family Safety, RUN. You're better off going back to your abuser because the experience is going to be exactly the same. I have been let down so many times over the past two years by this office...it makes me sick. I pray to God no one else has the same experience as me because no human being deserves to be lied to and treated this way.
***For my review above, I have evidence to back up everything I've said and this has all been made public online for anyone to view. Additionally, I would like to mention that I am specifically referring to the domestic violence division of the MNPD. Over the past two years, I've met 100+ officers in the Nashville area. Out of those officers, there were 4 who actually helped/cared about me - none of which were apart of the domestic violence division at MNPD.*** |

Very helpful |
Kelcie Brain rated 5 4 years ago The handcuffs where snug but comfortable, the back seat had plenty of leg room and the officers firm and thorough. |
Waynelle Jackson rated 5 4 years ago I love Metro Nashville’s Police Department! I’ve never met a more kind, willing to protect & serve group of individuals than those within the MNPD.
For everything you proudly do and stand for, each and every day, on behalf of our city and our country, you have my sincerest gratitude,
