Kim Pehlke rated 5 9 months ago Grateful that we have a police force that is willing to hear your concerns, check your house and assure you that you are safe. My concern ended up being nothing but they didn’t make me feel like an idiot for being concerned. Grateful! I wish I remembered the two officers names but they were really great! |
Sam Nair rated 5 10 months ago Thank you to Nick and Dan at the Naperville Police Department. I had a non-emergency need in the middle of the night and the police service was my only hope. They were so kind and understanding. They came and saved the day, while staying friendly and patient. I moved to Naperville recently and I am so glad I did knowing how well our police protest and provide or our community. |
Amanda Bennett rated 1 a year ago I’m not from here and was on a side road and didn’t see the stop sign until I was up to it. I braked, but had to roll through otherwise I would have screeched through into the road. I made sure I wouldn’t cause an issue to anyone with this happening. The officer had every right to pull me over and to ticket me. But….. I would expect a little kindness and/or understanding. I have a spotless record, no tickets or pull overs, and was apologetic and explained right away. She came back with a $160 ticket, and ended the delivery of it with a snarky remark, even though I was respectful of her the entire time. People skills should be required for this position as well. |
Latoya rated 1 2 years ago My husband waited over an hour to file a report for a hit and run at my daughters elementary school. The gentleman I spoke with on the non-emergency line at 10:12am on 1/29/2015 was extremely rude when I simply asked why we had to wait on the Dupage County Sheriff instead of the Naperville Police. He cut me off mid sentence and was very ignorant. You would think someone on that end of the phone would have better phone etiquette and be a bit more personable. I would rate zero stars because you don't deserve even one. Good thing I wasn't dying. |
Elisa Marlin rated 5 4 years ago I can't speak to the bad reviews, as everyone's experience is different. However, I will gladly rate the Naperville PD with 5 stars. I work the overnight shift at Thornton's, and I will tell you that I have never felt safer. The police officers make it a point to constantly patrol in my area, just to keep an eye on things. Also, all of the police officers that regularly stop in either to get a coffee or stay and chat have always been nothing but nice and professional. I, myself will be going to school for law enforcement and I would be honored to work for the Naperville PD. |
